Uxor is Latin for wife [29 June 2009]

Uxor is the Latin word for wife, and was frequently used in passenger lists and other records to identify a person as the wife of the previous person in the list. For that reason, I would suspect that this person's maiden name was not Uxor, and in the absence of more concrete proof, the OneWorldTree you copied this from, misinterpreted this to be a name, not a description of a relationship. --Jrich 15:07, 4 February 2009 (EST)
