There was no source for birth date 6 Dec 1636 so I cannot tell why somebody thinks this is the right date, but it does not fit the qualitative facts cited by Jacobus in his Bulkeley Genealogy. P. 103: Grace "apparently died", slipping into some kind of a coma, probable indication that she was already pregnant before leaving England. P. 104: "The Bulkeleys landed at Boston in midsummer, 1635. When the first child of Grace was born some months later, the name of Gershom was bestowed on him." P. 123: Wethersfield records say he was 77 years, 11 months, so born Jan 1635/36. Other documents say age 78, so born in 1635, a year before the date above. I have replaced this with Jacobus estimate, Jan 1635/36. --Jrich 12:04, 14 March 2010 (EDT)
