Hi, Klkorex. Welcome to WeRelate. I see you have recently uploaded your Gedcom. In the process of doing so, you added George Smith as the second husband of an already existing family page. Each family page should have only one husband and one wife, so I've created a second family page for the family you have imported. There do seem to be some problems with it, however. I tried to check the Ancestry.com page that you have added as a link, but it does not work. (This is usually the case with Ancestry.com links -- they don't transfer and show up as broken links. So you really need to add some sources to the page -- hopefully sources that refer to actual documents, not to an Ancestry tree. From George Smith (487): Possible duplicate? [30 March 2016]

Hi, Klkorex,

Me again -- sorry about that, but this profile keeps showing up on a computer generated list as one that has problems. It would appear that there is another George Smith (Person:George Smith (184) on WeRelate who could be a duplicate of this George Smith. His birth in South Carolina certainly makes more sense than a birth in Massachusetts. Unfortunately it is an old posting, the contributor seems not to be active, and there are no sources. So, if you have any sources other than an Ancestry Tree, it would be really helpful if you could post them.

Also, if you really think these two person are not the same, let me know. Otherwise, I will go ahead and merge them. Gayel --GayelKnott 16:36, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
