Why remove Wikipedia templates? [6 April 2015]

As I noted in the "summary" (history), the links that were there before were causing the text in the sentences to "break up" and made some text bold where it shouldn't have, so I replaced the links with the conventional hyperlinks, which do not have the same effect. If you go to the History and look at the page before I started changing the links and after I made the last change, you can see what I'm referring to. I tried changing the old links to keep from changing the text, but there must be something in the HTML formatting with those templates that causes this discrepancy.
