Farquhar vs Hugh? [28 December 2021]

Hi, I am not sure that folks are 100% certain of the ancestry of this line. I have seen Hugh given but never Farquhar. Do you have a reference for Farquhar? If not, I'd like to keep the ancestor of this generation as Hugh. Please reply. Thanks,--Sheri 20:01, 25 September 2011 (EDT)

I found a "traditional" pedigree that shows Robert to be the son of Farquhar (there is a 1608 document referring to him as "Robert Munro, son to Farquhar Munro of Aldie"). Farquhar was the great grandson of Hugh. I've updated and added sources accordingly.--DataAnalyst 01:36, 29 December 2021 (UTC)
