I have no documentation to prove that the Ephraim who died in Canada is the same Ephraim Betts, son of a Mr. Betts and Martha Jackson. The connection of Ephraim Betts (1) to his parents is based on similarity of birth year and location. There is proof that Mr. Betts and Martha had two children, Ephraim and David, but not even exact birth dates for either. We just know they were born sometime before 1763 as their grandfather Ephraim Jackson mentioned them in his 1763 will. (The will was not proved until 1768.)--janiejac 18:27, 26 December 2016 (UTC)
