She was Ellen Crosland, m Hammond/Amond (take your pick - the first is how the register was made out & how HDFHS index it, the second is how he signed) on 8 Sep 1811 at Almondbury. The best fit is the baptism at Holmfirth on 20 Feb 1792 of the daughter of Richard Crosland of Holm[e].
