I am looking for any information anyone has on this unknown daughter of Thomas Paxton. The Eakin and Paxton families were close until 1758 when James Eakin sued Thomas Paxton for kidnapping his daughter Elizabeth.
Per Chaukley's records, James Eakin (Jr) (B: Between 1735-37) in 1762 (?), was married to a woman named "Anne". They appear to have had 2 children: James and Margaret. Anne appears to have died around 1765. James marries a second time to a woman named Isabella Moore, daughter of Alexander Moore and has another group of children, one of which is Alexander Eakin who settles in Washington Co VA.
Is there any possibility that this unknown daughter of Thomas Paxton may be "Anne", James first wife? It is a long shot because of the law suit, but stranger things have happened. James and Anne may have married prior to the law suit.
