Francis Small's Wife [31 December 2011]

Does anyone have any more detail on the citation, "THE LEIGHTON FAMILY 929.273 L533 P. 3&4. INFO FROM RUTH SWENSON, PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH." The Small Genealogy (1934) says on I:44, "Not long after, about 1652 or 1653, Francis Small married Elizabeth -----; mentioned by Mr. Charles W. Tuttle as Elizabeth Leighton, who was born, according to a deposition, about 1634." That's the only source I've seen indicating that she may have been a Leighton. Torrey does not give a surname at all for the wife of Francis Small.--Jaques1724 06:37, 8 May 2011 (EDT)

Removing the birth in Glasgow. Don't know if this is somebody's assumption based on alleged maiden name, but as it does not agree with 1634 which is supported by evidence, it seems unlikely. --Jrich 10:45, 31 December 2011 (EST)
