Sergeant Edward Riggs 1637 [8 August 2013]

It would seem that Edward Riggs the younger, at the age of 18, would be too young achieve the rank of Sergeant during the brief Pequot War in 1637. Rather, I suspect, the father was the Sergeant (as implied by Anderson in his GMB sketch of the senior Edward, 3:1585). This point may well have been addressed in the 2009 article in The Genealogist.--jaques1724 14:21, 8 August 2013 (EDT)
