If you can offer some sources to that effect, I can update the wikipedia page to at least indicate that there is some controversy on the point (and from what quarter). Then we don't have to put caveats on the inclusion here, as well as getting peer review and visibility on the issue. --Jrm03063

See Person:Elisabeth Raymer (1) which gives several. In particular, there is a marriage record specifying the name as Raymer, which is what the page for Edmund Freeman says, contradicting the wikipedia article. Even if you accept the name Perry, there are many sources, for example, Source:Ferris, Mary Felton. Dawes - Gates Ancestral Lines, which says she was a widow, and hence her maiden name would not be Perry anyway. --Jrich 16:11, 5 January 2009 (EST)
