Person talk:Ebenezer Dyer (1)

Don't remove sources please. The deleted sections provides sources that are necessary.. [posted by RolandHenryBakerIII]

The deleted section list deeds the father executed, not the son, and the sources deleted applied to the passed on the father, not the passage on the son. They describe things like when his brothers and sisters were born, who, along with the father and mother, have their own pages to be posted on. Meanwhile the detailed section on Joseph was not posted nor the sources that apply to him. It seems like you are attempting to justify a bunch or close to irrelevant information so you can cut and paste the same information to all the children rather than help the user by crafting the page with information about the subject of the page. Ideally, if sources are important, they should be cited directly, instead of relying on a copy taken from another author without verifying. This is not a personal research log. Why the reader comes here is unknown, but they want information on Joseph Dyer, and if they want information on John Dyer and Abigail Fitch they should go to their pages, or even the book itself. (Not to mention this is borderline copyright infringement.) --Jrich 12:52, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
