How is it known that Dorothy's birthplace is Barnsley, Yorkshire, England? This would seem to be significant for a person whose origins are not known. It is not supported by the sources. In fact, Anderson under "Dorothy Smith", 1634-5, Vol 6, p. 351, says the identification of the 1637 Charlestown church member (the previous birthplace before your change) and 1637 resident of Wethersfield as the same person is "far from impossible". --Jrich 16:04, 8 July 2012 (EDT)

Slip of the mouse finger; auto-fill is not always your friend. Parents came in 1637 (not included in TGM, so not demonstrably here by the end of 1635; the edit was supposed to make the birthplace England rather than Charlestown since if she was born 1633-1635, it was almost certainly not in New England.--jaques1724 17:23, 8 July 2012 (EDT)
