Person talk:Charles Addams (3)

Images [9 March 2011]

I added title to the wives, but The text is not flowing around them. I have to go brush up on adding images.--Cthrnvl 17:38, 6 March 2011 (EST)

Thanks for your attention to the finer details of the article and your expert assistance. Do you have any familial connections to the famous cartoonist? --BobC 22:39, 6 March 2011 (EST)

I just happened on this page randomly. I see that the facts and events section is at the bottom of the page. Is there a reason for that? I think that is why all the wives won't fit in the personal section. If it is OK with you I will move it to the top. Otherwise I think I have to try and work on this in a sandbox so I don't add a zillion edits here. :) --Cthrnvl 08:02, 7 March 2011 (EST)

Actually, I deliberately wanted that effect, because I think that a long list of "facts" take away from the "story" of such a "character" as this, and I say that with fond affection. The meat of his life is in his life story, not in the recitation of factual data, information I thought would be more pertinent listed at the end of the narrative. So with your edits, please leave that the way it is. Thanks again. --BobC 21:59, 7 March 2011 (EST)

I see your point. I will leave that alone. I removed the table of contents box. What do you think of that? Easily changed (the code is at the very bottom of the markup). The wives are still not getting along with the text. I'm not getting it. I can't get into the sandbox site. So I think I'll just leave this alone until I learn more about how images display on WeRelate. --Cthrnvl 07:42, 9 March 2011 (EST)

Catherine, just a note about the sandbox... your main WR username and password won't work automatically there, you'll need to register again at that site. --Jennifer (JBS66) 07:46, 9 March 2011 (EST)

I tried to sign up but I never received my confirmation email. Not sure where to report that. Oh wait, just checked and I am signed in. Must have just taken some time to propagate. I'll test some things out there. --Cthrnvl 08:00, 9 March 2011 (EST)
