[add comment] [edit] From Anne Tredway (1): Removing alternate parents [31 August 2009]See discussion on Family:Nathaniel Treadway and Sufferance Haynes (1), including sources cited there, that Anne (Treadway) Stone and Nathaniel Treadway were not children of Edward Howe, but his niece and nephew. They were apparently named in his will because of no children of his own. So I removed Anne from Family:Edward Howe and Margaret Wells (1). --Jrich 21:10, 30 August 2009 (EDT) [add comment] [edit] From Anne Tredway (1): Anne wife of Elder John Stone may not have been a Treadway. [1 July 2012]In an addendum to the 1995 TAG article on the Howes and Treadways, the authors stated, "Our earlier article suggested that Ann, wife of Deacon John1 Stone, was a daughter of NathanielA Treadway. After further study, we think it is more likely that she was Ann Rogers, baptized at Boxted, Essex, England, on 14 May 1615, niece of Margaret (Wells) Howe.
