Joseph and Jonas Beardsell [1 November 2022]

Ann Beardsell has two entries for baptism in the West Yorkshire, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1512-1812 records, one with father Jonas and one with father Joseph. The first took place at Holmfirth Holy Trinity and the second took place at Almondbury All Hallows, both on the same day. Almondbury was the "mother church" of the chapel at Holmfirth and the entry listed there is probably the Bishops Transcript copy of the one at Holmfirth. It would be easy for a clerk to make this mistake on copying. Both images can be found in Ancestry.
