Albon kept a station of the Underground Railroad at Parkman in SE Geauga County. He also maintained a store near the bridge in Chagrin Falls (that crosses "The Falls" in downtown) with a large painted sign on the brick "Barter and Trade". Do a search for Albon C. Gardner and read an online book re: early Cuyahoga County Merchants. Having lived in Chagrin Falls during high school, I believe I recall seeing Gardners (my surname) in the old Evergreen Hill Cemetery.--Neal Gardner 16:03, 23 June 2010 (EDT)
