John Brownell and Mary Thurston [9 September 2010]

I agree that it looks like Mary Borden is indeed the Mary who is Abigail's mother, however, the research done in Macomber Genealogy (page 117) lists Mary Thurston as Abigail's mother. Also see the Family talk page for John Brownell and Mary Thurston.

On page 775 of volume 4 of the vital record of rhode island are both the marriages of John Brownell and Mary Borden (as on the person page), and John Brownell and Mary Thurston, Int. June 10 m. July 2, 1733.
