Military Draft [30 March 2015]

I edited the note for the WWI Military Draft registration -- once again, John E. Builthuis shows up as the "nearest relative". I think he cannot be ignored much longer as the son of Elko and Anje. Why Elko doesn't show up in the census records, I don't know, but if one really wanted to pursue this, I'd go to the land records for Cook County -- did he own the land he farmed? (Or you could try reading one of the farm schedules. -- Although they are so badly scanned I seldom even try.) --GayelKnott 21:37, 30 March 2015 (UTC)
