The body of Mrs. Zoan Salome Hickox, 78, long-time resident of Claude, who died at her home in Long Beach, Calif., Sunday night, will arrive in Amarillo Thursday and will be taken to Claude that afternoon for funeral services at 4 o'clock. N.S. Griggs & Sons will be in charge.
J.E. Phillips, Lloyd Nelson, Tony Chavenux, Ray Callahan, J.E. Weeks and Dee Wilson were selected pallbearers.
Before moving to California 12 years ago, Mrs. Hickox had lived in Claude for 30 years.
Her husband, William Horace Hickox, died two years ago.
Survivors are three sons and five daughters. They are J.R. and H. Ramey Hickox, Long Beach; Lester Hickox, Borger; Mrs. G.W. Masters and Mrs. Annie Blight, Los Angeles; Mrs. George Bishop, Canyon; Mrs. Lany E. Peterson, Long Beach and Mrs. Frank M. Bisop [sic], Claude.
