Descendant of Sergt. Stephen Fleharty, John Fuller, Henry Farnham, and Phineas Knight, as follows: 1. Norman Farnham (b. 1860) m. 1885 Eleanor Gardner (1863-1903). 2. Erastus Farnham (1821-1907) m. 1849 Eveline Fleharty (1829-1907). 3. Lavius Farnham (1793-1835) m. 1818 Sally Eliza Fuller (1796-1846); William L. Fleharty m. 1828 Martha Earl (1798-1888). 4. Erastus Farnham (1770-1813) m. 1793 Zernah Knight (1768-1819); John Fuller m. 1778 Wealthy Kazar (1757-1813); William F. Fleharty (1771-1842) m. 1795 Margaret Withgott (d. 1851). 5. Henry Farnham m. 1766 Abigail Rudd (1746-1824); Phineas Knight m. Abigail ?; Stephen Fleharty m. 1764 Sarah Morgan (d. 1796). Stephen Fleharty (1743-98) served as corporal 1st Maryland regiment, 1776, and sergeant 7th Maryland, 1779-80; engaged in the battles of Long Island, White Plains, Guilford Court House, Eutaw Springs, Cowpens, and Ninety-Six. He was born in Caroline County, Md.; died in Harrison County, Va. Also No. 65295. John Fuller (1757-1813) was private, Connecticut troops. He was born and died in Hanover, Conn. [p.288] Henry Farnham (1742-1823) turned out on the Lexington Alarm, Col. Jedediah Huntington's Connecticut regiment. He was born in Norwich, Conn. Phineas Knight (1731-1806) was a patriot, who provided food and clothing for another family during the Revolution. He was born in Norwich, Conn., and in 1781 was living there. |
