Berneice Raab June 18, 1915 – March 15, 1998

Edwardsburg – Berneice Raab, 82, formerly of Edwardsburg, died on Sunday (March 15, 1998) in Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Elkhart.

She was born on June 18, 1915 in Medaryville, Ind., and married Leo J. Raab on Nov. 24, 1938 in Mishawaka. He died in 1981. She is survived by two daughter, Jill Ann Coy and Mary Jo Raab, both of Edwardsburg; one son Michael J. of Cassopolis; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Edna Shoemaker of Florida and Oleits Heflick of South Bend; three brothers, Hershel Coleman of Granger, Ray Coleman of Oregon and Cecil Coleman of South Bend. Four brothers are deceased.


Friends may call fro 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bubb Funeral Chapel North in Mishawaka, where a wake service will be at 3:45 p.m.. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Burial will be in Adamsville Cemetery,

Mrs. Raab was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and the Rosary Society.

Memorials may be give to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
