[edit] Records of Zebulon AlexanderReceived the Eight day of June one thousand seven hundred and Seventy two of John Hodgson, administrator to the Estate of Phoneas Hodgson deceased, the sum of Seventeen pounds ten shillings Current money of Pennsylvania being in full of all accounts dues and Demands whatsoever either against the Estate of my Father Phineas Hodgson Deceased or by way of any Legacy, Portion part or share of the s'd Estate that falls to my Lot and doth forever Discharge him the said John Hodgson and his heirs Exors. Admins from me my heirs Exors. Admrs. and Assigns. (signed) Abel Hodgson Wits: Amos Alexander and Jos. L.Gilpin Recorded 3 May 1773 Cecil Co. Lived in Sugar Creek, North Carolina According to the IGI, he had another wife Hannah Hodgson, but I couldn't find her when I put her name in the search field. Someone has been sealing all these children to her and Zeb. Also had a will dated 3 March 1784. |
