Will of ZEBULON ALEXANDER of the County of Mecklenburg... to wife Jean, negroe wench Bet over and above her third: to son Phineas Alexander, one crosscut saw, and ten shillings; to son Abel Alexander, the plantation on Sugar Creek called Indian land for which I obtained "a patten years agoe", to son Zebulun Alexander, half of the plantation I now live on; to son Zenor Alexander, the other half of plantation, to daughter Mary Irwin, five shillings, to daughter Ruth McCree, ten shillings, to daughter Deborah Alexander, ten shillings, to daughter Hannah Greere, horse and saddle, to daughter Martha, plantation called Gum Swamp, and negro girl Hannah; wife Jane and son in law John McCree, exrs. 3 March 1784. Received the Eight day of June one thousand seven hundred and Seventy two of John Hodgson, administrator to the Estate of Phoneas Hodgson deceased, the sum of Seventeen pounds ten shillings Current money of Pennsylvania being in full of all accounts dues and Demands whatsoever either against the Estate of my Father Phineas Hodgson Deceased or by way of any Legacy, Portion part or share of the s'd Estate that falls to my Lot and doth forever Discharge him the said John Hodgson and his heirs Exors. Lived in Sugar Creek, North Carolina According to the IGI, he had another wife Hannah Hodgson, but I couldn't find her when I put her name in the search field. Someone has been sealing all these children to her and Zeb. Also had a will dated 3 March 1784.
