    William Brown came to this country from England before 1686, and to Leicester before 1721. With wife Martha [sic, see comments following], had [among others] Zachariah [listed following John who is "b. about 1703"], m. Patience Converse, 1730.
    [Note: Judd/Boltwood shows a daughter Mary and wife Mary. This source doesn't show any daughters and says William Jr. had wife Martha as well as William Sr. having wife Martha. So appearances suggest this source may have gotten confused and Mary is probably correct.]
