Obituary

Funeral services for Y. J. Lord, widely known Ashford Route One Farmer, who died early this m orning following a brief illness, will be held in Howard's Grove Church at 10 O'clock tomorro w morning. The Rev. Godfrey Watson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Wa rd-Wilson directing.

Mr. Lord, who was Seventy-Five was a member of the Baptist church and a Master Mason. He ha d been a life long resident of the Ashford Community.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. E. S. Jones, Ashford Route One, Mrs. S.J. Williams, LaGra nge, GA., and Mrs G.R. Watson, Ashford, Route Two; 36 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildre n.
