1851 - The only "pupil" listed in the household of John Drake Crofts, Vicar of Houghton St Giles, living in High Street, Almonry Lane, Walsingham. Aged 14. Named as Womack BRANFORD.

1861 - Recorded as Womack BRANFORD, head of household in Godwick which includes parents Womack Wm & Elizabeth, "Daur" Susan (18), "Son" Edward (11), a governess and cook. Farmer is crossed through. Aged 24, born at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

1881 - Living at Godwick Hall, Tittleshall with wife, one daughter, a nephew (Tyson C Johnson b. c1862 Chedburgh, Sfk), a governess and three servants. Farmer of 758 acres, employing 23 labourers, 10 boys and three women). Named as Womack BRANFORD.

1881 - Granted probate for the will of his uncle Thomas Womack Branford, jointly with Hamden Gledstanes Glasspoole (also a nephew of Thomas) and William Holt (no relation). Farmer of Godwick Hall, Litcham. Named as Womack BRANFORD.

1901 - With second wife, living in Bournemouth, Hampshire. Retired farmer, aged 64, born at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
