Entered into a deed on 4-Feb-1882 and 13-Mar-1884 in Adair Co., MO. His biography appeared in 1888 and states that he died in the fall of 1884. A notice of Inquiry as to Sanity was issued to him on 12-Jan-1926 to notify him of a hearing set for 20-Jan-1927 to determine his state of mind and appoint a guardian. John W. SPENCER, his son, was appointed his guardian after the court found him of unsound mind.
