Rigdon, was fatally injured last Sunday when he walked in front of an auto on Rt. 59 near Naperville IL. He died before reaching Edwards Hospital at Naperville. Police attributed death to severe head injuries. The veteran of World War 2 resided at 424 W Second ST, Anderson. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; six step-children, Billy, Jack and Paul Moto, Mrs. Alice Kuntz, Mrs. Eva Henton and Mrs. Linda Chapin, all of Anderson; 13 stepgrandchildren and other relatives.
