Syracuse Post-Standard, 13 Jan 2006: WILMINA "BILLIE" WHITE January 8, 2006 Wilmina "Billie" White, age 91; life resident of Orwell died Sunday in the State of Washington where she had resided since 1999. She was born on September 14, 1914, the daughter of William and Rose Trumble Britton. She married Harold White on April 23, 1960; he died in 1999. She was a member of the Robert Edwards Post 358, American Legion Auxiliary, and member and past president of Oswego County VFW Auxiliary. She was a charter member of VFW Post #7289, Pulaski, and a member of the Orwell Union Church. Surviving are her two sons Carl and David of Washington; two daughters, Thelma Snyder, Fulton, Joan Gumm of WA; two brothers, Fay Britton of Chittenango, Robert Britton of FL; three sisters, Viola Mowers of Orwell, Elsie Wheeler and Rose Peck, both of Altmar; 11 grandchildren... Funeral services will be held on Saturday... at Foster-Hax Funeral Home... Pulaski... Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
