Wilma C. Ragain Bottorff, 77, of Blue Springs, Mo., formerly of Columbus, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2000, at the Monterey Park Care Center at Blue Spring following an illness.
She was born July 19, 1922, at Oil Hill, to Raymond and Mary Crumrine Ragain. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Herb Yuncker. She moved to Columbus with her family as a small child. She was a graduate of Columbus High School.
She married Kenneth Bottorff in 1939. They later divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Gene Bottorff of Columbus and Jerry Bottorff of Blue Springs; a sister, Dorothy Charlton of Wichita; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces, and one nephew.
