Wilma Nadine Tullis Wilma was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on May 31, 1918, to Clarence and Elfie Johnson and passed away on Monday, July 23, 2007, at the age of 89. Wilma was a homemaker for over 70 years and her family was everything to her. She loved to crochet and knit. She crocheted baby afghans for each of her great-grandchildren. She was a life member of the Scottish Society of Central California and was a parishioner at St. James Anglican Cathedral. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, J.L.Tullis; her daughter, Deanna Alcorn; and grandsons, Mark Alcorn and Jonathan Wyatt. She is survived by her daughters, Veldonna Wyatt and her husband Robert of Reedley, Ca., and Linda Atkinson and her husband Robert of North Fork, Ca.; and her sons, Jerry and Michael Tullis, both of Fresno, Ca. Wilma also leaves her sister, Eileen Frank and her husband Robert of Pittsburg, Kansas; ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held at Boice Funeral Home on Sunday, July 29, 2007, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Cathedral on Monday, July 30, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. Published in the Fresno Bee on 7/27/2007.
