In 1870, Wilson was living with Seldon Driver and family (presumably a grandson). His death record gives his last name as "Drivers".

The listing of his wives is suspect: many researchers prefer to combine Mary and Polly Low as one person. Their justification is that Polly was a nickname for Mary. One unknown researcher names his wife as Catherine Nelson, married 31 Oct 1827 in Maryland. No proof is given.

Obituary Sandusky Register 29 Nov 1876

We hear to-day, of the death of one of our oldest citizens, Wilson Driver, at an advanced age. His health has been gradually failing for the past two years, and now he has gone to his long home. He was a man well respected wherever known.

[The paragraph two above the obit is interesting]

On last Thursday and Friday evening, we had concerts in the M.E. church by the Slave Cabin Singers, of Nashville, Tennessee. Their performance was very creditable, and some pieces really excellent, and drew out applause. Last spring the troupe was in the vicinity and were advised not to come to Vermillion, on account of the prejudie existing against their color. But their conduct while here was such as to disarm prejudice, if any existed. The avails over expenses go toward building an orphan school and home at Nashville, Tennessee.
