Willis B. Haines, 65, of Washington R. D. 6, was dead on arrival at Washington Hospital Friday, January 27, 1967, at 11 p. m.
He was born March 28, 1901, at Claysville, a son of William E. and Bertha Stollar Haines. He was employed at the Hazel Atlas No. 1 plant of Brockway Glass Co., retiring March 28, 1966.
Mr. Haines was a member of the EUB Church of East Finley; the Independent Club and Eagles Lodge Aerie No. 687, both of Washington.
His first wife was Ruby Dague. He was married July 7, 1937, to Ethel Crumrine, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Stewart W., Gaylord W., and Robert E., all of Washington R. D. 3; two daughters, Nancy Jane and Carmen June, both at home; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Wilda Slater, of Beach City, Ohio, and Mrs. Olive Maurer, of Newcomerstown, Ohio, and his stepmother, Mrs. Susie Haines, of Cadiz, Ohio.
One son is deceased.
HAINES - Friends of Willis B. Haines, of Washington R. D. 6, who died Friday, January 27, 1967, will be received at the Graham P. Cowieson Funeral Home from 7-9 p. m. Saturday, and 12-4 and 7-9 p. m. Sunday. Services will be held Monday, January 30, at 1:30 p. m. in charge of the Rev. D. C. Marshall. Burial in Scenery Hill Cemetery.
