"William de Swynburn knight confirms to William de Kergill and Beatrice his wife the grant which Agnes de Thornhill wife of the late Alexander de Swynburn his father made to them from her dower of the township of Halghton so that whatever should happen to the said Agnes, William and Beatrix or their heirs shall have the dower for the full term of 10 years from the making of this deed
