DNA tests by descendants prove that Hezekiah Witt (sic) was brother of Rev. Richard Whitt (sic). Rev. Richard Whitt (d1812) also had a son named Hezekiah.

To answer your question. Name of wife of Hezekiah Witt (d post 1790)is not known. Neither her Christian name nor surname known.

His son, Rev. War Soldier Aires Witt said in his pension application that he once served under his uncle General Rutherford.

It begs the question whether General Rutherford was his blood uncle or was it the wife of General Rutherford.

The "Rutherford" name appears in the family of Hezekiah Witt (sic).

Indeed, Hezekiah Witt named a son William Rutherford Witt b ca 1774. This "Rutherford" Witt has record living midst his Whitt cousins in Tazewell CoVA , before he left for Tennessee.

Again, maiden name of Hezekiah Witt (d p 1790 in NC) is not docuemented to date.
