Will of William Wills

I, William Wills of Montgomery County do hereby make my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following, that is to say:
First I desire that all the perishable part of my estate be immediately sold after my decease and out of the money arising therefrom all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid. Should the perishable part of my property prove insufficient for the above purpose then I desire that my executors hereafter named may sell my plantation and out of the moneys arising therefrom pay and satisfy such of my debts as shall remain unsettled out of the sales of the perishable part of my estate.
Second, after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses I give to my wife Polly Wills all my perishable and real estate for and during her natural life and after her decease to be equally divided betwixt all my lawful heirs and be enjoyed by them forever.
I make choice Robert Trimble and Thomas Egan as my Executors to settle all my business after my decease. My two Grandchildren William and James to live with my wife and have their maintenance out of my estate.
As witness my hand and seal this 31st January 1834.
Signed sealed and delivered before these witnesses,
(signed) William Wills.
