================== William Wells may have had more than one wife. In which case, the children listed here may have had a different mother than Sweet Breeze (sister of Little Turtle). There seems to be some confusion about whether William Wells married a SISTER of Little Turtle or a DAUGHTER of Little Turtle. He may have married both at different times or at the same time.========Some records say his first wife was a Native American and he had at least one child by her. Somehow this wife and child or children were "lost" and not seen again. Lost seems to mean captured or killed or migrated somewhere they were not seen again by William Wells. In this case, these known descendants are probably issue of his second wife, Sweet Breeze.
