STAFFORD COUNTY VA WILL BOOK M; 1729-1748; THE ANTIENT PRESS
pp. 13-14 In the name of God Amen. I WILLIAM WAUGH of Stafford County being sick .. but of perfect memory thanks be to Almighty God ., do ordain this my last will & testament .. hereby revoking all other .. in form following Item I give & bequeath my soul into the hands of almighty God .. buried at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named.. Item I give unto my Loving Son TRAVERS WAUGH all my land in Fairfax County on North side of Occoquan for want of heirs to my loving son JOSEPH WAUGH and heirs of his body lawfully begotten & for want of heirs to my loving son GOWRY WAUGH and his heirs .. Item I give to my loving son Travers Waugh my Gold Ring .. I do hereby appoint my trusty friend JAMES WAUGH and my loving son Gowry Waugh my Executors ., this 26th day October 1747.

At Court held for Stafford County October the 11th 1748 Last Will & Testament of William Waugh deced presented in Court by James Waugh Gent. .. Gowry Waugh heir at law being present further proved by oaths of (witnesses named) .. admitted to record .. said Executors performing what is usual in such cases .. certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof.
