Wm. VanderBurg Passes

Mrs. Peter Wiersma received word that her brother, Wm. Vander Burg of Bellflower, CA., had passed away Sunday at Bellflower.

Mr. Vander Burg was a native of Orange City and had lived at Holland MN, for a number of years. He moved to Bellflower in 1954 after his wife's death, the former Elizabeth Niemwyer, of Orange City.

Surviving are 8 children: Living in CA, IA and MN. and one son who is in the service overseas.

Three preceded in death; one son, Elmer Vander Burg, died in a camp at Pearl Harbor in 1942; another son, Gt. John. 15, lost his life in a car accident in 1924; one daughter Wilimina (Mrs. Bert Vander Woude) of Edgerton MN, passed away in 1958.

Surviving are his sister, Mrs. Peter Wiersma of Orange City and a sister, Mrs. Henry Alberda of Montana, a sister-in-law Mrs. John W. Hofmeyer of Orange City. A sister, Dena Vander burg of Orange City, passed away in may 1963.
