!MARRIAGE: Wife 1. Anderson (above) records the wife as Jane Buchanan. Her source: "Thompson Family Temple Record, Endowment House Record Film #1149520, pg. 56, and from letter written by James Haston Thompson March 21, 1886. Information in the endowment house records was given by a granddaugter, Lousia Ward Higgenbothom." The name of this first wife is not known to "Bluegrass".
