- Thomas, William - born 1/20/1763 in Culpeper County, Virginia; entered 1777 in Guilford County, North Carolina, where he resided, in North Carolina regiment; granted Pension 1832 in Franklin County, Georgia, & died there 11/27/1835; married 1/19/1792 to Agnes [Carruthers] Thomas, Elbert County, Georgia; widow granted Pension 1839 in Franklin County, Georgia; widow granted Bounty Land Warrant #26102 in 1855; births in file (all surname Thomas): Joel 10/23/1794 (married 10/2/1817 Isabel [?] Thomas), Lewis 12/8/1796 (married 11/8/182 Eliza [?]] Thomas), Ezekiel 9/6/1798 (married 1/29/1828 to Sarah Montgomery), William 10/23/1800 (married 7/28/1831 to Susan C. Murk), Sarah 12/22/1802 (married 10/19/1837 to John Rogers), Mary 2/3/1805 (married 12/7/1835 to Philip Pruitt), Anna C. 7/18/1808 (married 7/25/1837 to Nancy F.
