Acquisition of Land from Northern Neck Warrants & Surveys:
- William Tapp, 6 Aug. 1747 - 15 Sept. 1747; 587 acres on great fork of Rappahannock River; adj. Robert Eastham, Thomas Dillard, Lewis Davis Yancy. CC - Edward Lane & Wm. Tapp, Junr. Earlier survey for William Tapp included - 17 Dec. 1736; 656 acres on Rappahannock River below the Goard Vine Fork; adj. (same as above) & Andrew Bourne. Surv. George Hume. [Abstracts of Virginia's Northern Neck Warrants & Surveys, Orange & Augusta Counties, with Tithables, Delinquents, Petitioners, 1730-1754, Volume One, Peggy Smomo Joyner, pg. 14]. (Note: Andrew Bourne was the younger brother of William Tapp's wife, Christian Bourne).
