"WILLIAM STANSBERY DIES FRIDAY NIGHT - Rites For Mifflin Township FarmerSet For Monday - Williams Stansbery, 57-year-old Mifflin townshipFarmer, died at 9:20 Friday evening in Hardin Memorial hospital, Kenton,following an illness of two years. He had been in serious condition fornearly two weeks. Born March 12, 1897, in New Hampton, Iowa, thedeceased was a son of William and Aurelia [Straw] Stansbery. He wasmarried to Mabel Berniece Stansbery in Michigan in September, 1925.Surviving with the widow are one daughter, Dorothy Louise, at home, andfour brothers and sisters, Lottie, wife of William Dome, of Mifflintownship; Sarah, wife of Charles Jones, of Valley City, North Dakota;Ephraim Stansbery, of Mifflin township, and Ulysses Grant Stansbery, ofNew Hampton, Iowa. Three sisters and one brother are deceased. Mr.Stansbery was a member of the Salem Methodist church in Mifflintownship. He came to Wyandot county when he was six years of age.Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 PM from the SalemMethodist church with the pastor, Rev. Floyd Stevens, officiating.Interment will be made in the Stansbery cemetery in Mifflin township.Friends may call at the Bringman and Company funeral home here from10:00 AM Sunday until noon Monday. The body will lie in state at thechurch from 1:00 PM Monday until time for the services."
