265. William Semple, second son of John Semple (256), possessed the lands of Easter Kaimhill and Boakshill from May, 1740, to May, 1746. He married Janet Taylor, January 18, 1746, by whom he had two sons, born Wednesday, May 10, 1747 (ie. baptism date), both at a birth. The mother died the 17th of the same month. The father died Jue 24, 1773, aged 58 years.S1
