Scott, late a private in the militia from the State died in the service of the United States at Norfolk leaving a number of infant children, the court doth appoint William A. "July Court 1823, on the motion of Amos Scott, orphan of William Scott, dec., who was therefore to be bound by the overseer of the poor to Hiram Tyree and with the assent of the said Hiram Tyree it is ordered that the indenture binging the said orphan to said Tyree be set aside and annulled, and that the overseers of the poor bind said orphan on the usual terms to Jacob Fishburn."
