- Page 29 states: 'William Rodgers' was a witness to John Caldwell "of Cub Creek in Virginia" will dated 26 Nov. 1748 and probated 3 April 1751 in Lunenberg Co., VA. DB1, p. 498.
- Page 38a states: "Margaret Caldwell, daughter of John Caldwell and Margaret Phillips, b. Ireland, 1712 d. Kentucky 1791 m. Lunenberg Co., VA. 1738, William Rodgers (son of William Rodgers, b. Ipswich, Mass.. 1699, and Mary Caldwell, who were married Annapolis, Md., 1720 d. Luneburg Co., VA, 1750.
- Pages 29 and 38 a both list William Rodgers, whereas page 14 in a probable transcription error states "My mother, Margaret their only daughter, was married there to my father John Rodgers".
- You have William Rodgers witnessing his father-in-law's will on page 29, plus page 38 saying William Rodgers marrying Margaret Caldwell and listing who William Rodgers parents were giving greater weight to what's stated on pages 29 and 38a, than what's stated on page 14.
- After William Rodgers death in 1750, Margaret (Caldwell) Rodgers married James Mitchell about 1751 by whom she had 5 children.
