- ↑ When he registered for the WW1 Draft, William Roach said he was 25yo, b. in St. Louis on May 26, 1892. He was living at 4022 St. Ferdinand Street and working as a painter for Roach Painting Co. at 2615 N. Sarah. He was single.
- ↑ Army Serial Number 2,179,173. At the time of enlistment, he was living at 4022 St. Ferdinand Avenue, St. Louis, MO. He enlisted at St. Louis and served first with Company F, 354th Infantry until 13 May 1918, then with the 163rd Dep. Brigade until discharge. He attained the rank of Corporal in October 1919.
