  10. At the time of death, James Roach was living at 3958 Moffett Street. He died of mitral regurgitation. He was born July 27, 1869, in IRE, and was 57yos 4mos and 11days old when he died. He was married to Delia and was a laborer. His parents were James Roach and Mary Gallagher, both b. IRE. He was to be buried in Calvary Cemetery on Dec. 11. Delia was the informant on the Death Certificate.

Aug 1885, a trimmer in a shoe factory; James L., 12yo b. Feb 1888; Joseph M., 10yo b. Mar 1890; William, 8yo b. May 1892; Frank, 5yo b. Oct 1894; Mamie, 3yo b. Dec 1896; Thomas, 1yo b. Dec 1898. Delia has been married for 14 years and has had seven children, all of whom are living.
    James states that he came to the US in 1885 and has been naturalized. Delia says she came in 1880 and has been here for 20 years.

Living with him were his wife of 25 years Delia, 45yo b. IRE, and seven children, all b. MO: Joseph, a 20yo house painter; William, a 17yo house painter; Frank, a 15yo butcher boy in a meat market; Mary, 13yo; Thomas, 11yo; Bernard, 9yo; and Matthew, 6yo. James said that he same to the US in 1884, and Delia says she came in 1880. Delia has had 9 children, all of whom are living.

MO: William, a 27yo city detective; Frank, a 25yo commercial salesman for a paper company; Mary, a 23yo stengrapher for a paint company; Thomas, a 21yo stenographer for a RR office; Leonard, an 18yo broommaker in a broom factory; and Matthew, a 16yo clerk in a bank. James came to the US in 1884 and became a citizen in 1889. Della came in 1880. [Bernard F. is the correct age to be "Leonard".]
