William "Ira" Reese, 92, of Charleston died April 20, 2005.

He was retired from KRT with 43 years of service.

Mr. Reese was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita G, Reese; second wife, Violet Marie Reese; daughter, Tina Lee Reese; and father and mother, William Reese and Fannie Humphreys Reese.

Surviving him are daughter, Dorotha Turley and husband, Robert, of Hurricane; son, Richard A. Fleck and wife, Debra, of Roane County; grandsons Allen Fleck and Chris Turley; granddaughters, Robin Turley; and great-granddaughters, Stephanie Fleck, Lori Neubert, Leslie Turley, and Alison Turley.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, at J. E. Johnson Funeral Home, Kanawha City, with Evangelist Eddie Withrow officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
