Pat Bristley, the researcher, suspects from William Reed's will that there was something physically wrong with his daughter, Margaret, because she had not married and he seemed particularly to want to see that she was taken care of after his death. The strange thing I found out about William from his will, was that like most Scoth-Irish men, he left most of his estate to his daughters, not his sons. With the Germans it was just the opposite.
